Abstract

With the present work we try to study principally, the consistency and internal structure of the Questionnaire of Personality Big Five for children and adolescents. In the work there have taken part 679 pupils (46.7 % boys, 53.3 % girls) of Secondary Obligatory Education whose ages range between 12 and 18 years old, belonging to different schools of Alicante. The information points out that the questionnaire Big Five presents a structure of five factors (Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism) that are related to those proposed in the theoretical model of the instrument. Also, a good internal consistency exists between the majority of the items that compose the instrument BFQ-NA.
