Abstract
A photonic dimer of two optically coupled lasers is analyzed as an optical meta-molecule for non-Hermitian photonic applications. Spectral signatures of exceptional points and Hopf bifurcations are shown for generic asymmetric configurations. A significant enhancement in the small signal modulation response under differential pumping is observed.
