Abstract

This article provides an account of the teacher-led development work approach that is being introduced to schools in Kazakhstan as a vehicle for facilitating teacher leadership. This paper also explains the interim result of a biology teacher's development project that aims at developing and implementing criteria-based assessment in 9th form biology.
