Abstract
We present this presentation on the effectiveness of thematic lexical minimal language teaching in three languages (Kazakh, Russian, English). In the system of language means lexis is the main component of learning and teaching content. We offer a three-stage classification of Kazakh words for Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced levels of Kazakh language teaching.
Thematic group classification was developed according to the generally accepted traditions of describing ideographical vocabulary. The complexity of the lexical minimum is identified with its inclusive features of thematic, phraseological, spelling, grammatical, accentological, and translatable, terminological dictionaries. The lexical minimums include information, reference, guiding, and teaching functions. This dictionary structure also applies to other languages
