WS2/C nanocomposites reviewed

Abstract

A review on WS2/C nanocomposites was presented. The multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCN) were found to be capable of acting as templates for WS2 nanotube growth. Results showed subtle differences between the formation of pure WS2 nanotubes and template-controlled WS2 nanostructures, such as crystallographic phase transformation and directional growth.
