Endometriosis is a chronic and debilitating gynecologic disease that affects women all over the world. The exact mechanism and cause of endometriosis is still poorly understood. However, recent studies have started to shed light on the potential environmental factors that are linked to endometriosis. Our literature review is aimed to provide an insight into the newly discovered connection between environmental factors and endometriosis.
